Experts from the Department of Neurosurgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital are participating in the 2022 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting, organized by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. The meeting is held Friday, April 29 – Monday, May 2, 2022, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA.
This year’s theme is The Culture of Neurosurgery and will be attended by neurosurgical experts on an international scale. The event will feature prominent speakers from a variety of cultural backgrounds, such as Jerome Bettis, an NFL Hall of Fame running back, Peggy Noonan of the Wall Street Journal, and Yo-Yo Ma, a Grammy award-winning cellist.
More than a dozen concurrent community sessions will discuss new literature, controversies and innovative technology within the field of neurosurgery. Many practical clinic sessions, research forums, international symposiums and panel discussions will be held throughout the weekend, making this a valuable event for neurosurgeons looking to advance patient care, network with colleagues and expand their knowledge of state-of-the-art approaches to neurosurgical care.
