Brigham and Women’s Hospital joined a panel of experts from the Boston area for a Medical Grand Rounds presentation on December 1, 2022. The virtual presentation highlighted recent innovations in geriatric medicine and the care of older adults.
Shalender Bhasin, MD, an endocrinologist in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Hypertension at the Brigham and director of the Boston Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center, was one of the panelists. Dr. Bhasin presented on using nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) augmentation to prevent and treat age-related diseases.
