U.S. News and World Report conducts an annual expert opinion survey to rank the “Best Hospitals” nationwide. These important rankings ensure that hospitals, like Brigham and Women’s Hospital, providing world-class care for complex conditions will continue to reach and treat more patients.

Each hospital’s reputation score is calculated with the results of the expert opinion survey and contributes to their overall ranking. All board-certified specialists who are Doximity members are eligible to cast their vote when the voting period begins in February.

Voting in the Expert Opinion Survey

Voting is easy and done online—mail-in ballots are no longer accepted. Registered Doximity users should receive an email from Doximity announcing that the annual survey is open. However, if you do not receive an email, you can still log in to Doximity during the voting period and access the survey.

If you did not register with Doximity before voting began, you may register at any time during the voting period and submit your vote.

Once voting opens, follow these steps to cast your vote:

  1. Go to Doximity.com and log in
  2. Look for a U.S. News button on the homepage or search for “U.S. News Best Hospitals”
  3. You may list up to five hospitals in your respective specialty that you believe provide the best care in the U.S. You only need to vote for one hospital for your ballot to count, and the order in which you list these hospitals does not affect their ranking
  4. Submit your vote

If you have difficulty registering with Doximity or completing the survey, please email Doximity support for assistance.
